One Sure Secret to Joy

I realised in the shower this morning that much unhappiness stems from our ego.

Specifically, the way the ego is often hurt by other people’s seeming inability to appreciate what we do for them.

There is a rapid and 100% successful cure for this:

Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all for the Lord and not for men.  (See Colossians 3:17, 23; Ephesians 6:7)

Then you shall have your reward and your satifaction.

You shall be immune to people’s ingratitude and bad manners.

You shall give your utmost for His highest.
